McWilliam, Kieran Fish and Alan Paddick - 1977 Tabbed In TablEdit By: Steve J. McWilliam - 1998 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Produced around the time of the short-lived ragtime euphoria in Britain following the release of the film "The Sting" which featured Scott Joplin's music throughout. In fact, this tune was known as "The Sting" for a number of years afterwards by most people in Britain - except, of course, those in the know who had heard recordings of Joplin's music from piano players such as Max Morath, etc. If you haven't heard the piano versions, try to do so, it is worth the effort. Didn't every ragtime/blues picker do, or try to do, an arrangement of this tune around this time - the late 1970s & early 1980s ?? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- steve.mcwilliam@btinternet.com http://www.stevemcwilliam.co.uk/guitar/index.htm --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TablEdit - the best tablature editing software for fingerstyle guitarists. http://www.tabledit.com/ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- c0w %).38 %).38
